Markante Orte in Kirchdorf und Umgebung werden mittels Soundinstallationen und Mobiliar „aufgeladen“

Self-chosen and rededicated places play a decisive role for the development and identity of subcultures. Outside of municipal centres there are usually no especially dedicated places (clubs, bars, concert halls, cultural centres) which means that traditionally, youths have temporarily appropriated certain locations in the local environs. Apart from school and the cafe, smoking benches, striking hills, isolated barns and gravel pits define the everyday life of teenagers. Christian Loikits and Gerhard Stiftinger have chosen five of these Points of Flight and will equip them with a rudimentary infrastructure that stimulates their use and their adaptation. The collections of music specially put together for the locations take care of reinforcement, alienation and a doubling of what exists.
