Das Recht an der Grenze

The border region between Austria and the Czech Republic is rarely deemed an object worthy of the attention of journalistic reporting. Usually it is temporary states of emergency which attract the attention of observers and rarely what has in the meantime become the routine and permanent state of affairs comprising border control, enforced migration management, commuters and prostitution on the one hand, and transborder realities such as the exodus from the land, the development of tourism and everyday life on the other hand. Florian Klenk will publish the results of several research trips to Upper and Lower Austria in the form of a special report in the Vienna’s city weekly newspaper Falter.
