Sofie Thorsen calls on youths from villages around the Mühlviertel to tell stories about their localities impromptu before the camera. In the conversation with the youths, she tries to gain an idea of the interplay between everyday life, the production of identity and media images and to find out to what extent the global media culture defines youth culture as an important factor in identity formation. Based on the interviews, a film for the Rohrbach Cinema and a series of posters will be made.
